THE PHD 12 WEEK SPRINT

Here are what some of the past participants are saying...
"The 12 week PhD Program was the best form of training I have done throughout the entirety of my PhD course.
It set me up with a way of working that is productive and energising. It also helped me to move through a phase of writer's block.
Since the course, I have continued to repeat the 12 Week Plan as it makes the workload of a PhD student so much more manageable and enjoyable."
"I tried to start the 12 week year alone and didn't get very far, twice! I kept on tripping up when it came to planning. I thought my attempts at breaking tasks down was good but little did I know.
After starting the 12 week year with the group, I learnt a vast amount about planning, strategies for work and how to keep myself motivated through action.
The weekly check-ins gave me the accountability that I craved. The weekly celebrations helped me to take stock of what I had achieved in the week. I was forced to think about the steps I had taken and not focus on the large, finish the PhD task!
By the end of the 12 weeks, I had ordered my thoughts and working habits which enabled me to submit a piece of work that I wouldn't have done alone.
I would highly recommend this program, it has been immensely beneficial to my PhD journey."
"This was a game changer for me - recognising, working through and understanding how my perfectionism impacted well-being during my research.
It was a fear of failure translated into feeling stopped often - too scared to write anything, ANYTHING! Because it had to be 'right' first time.
Emma facilitates such an engaging, respectful and supportive space. She offers practical, workable strategies, and relatable examples from her lived experience of the phD process and fosters a sense of community in the sessions that helps you to work through your demons!
I would highly recommend."
